Margretta has poor balance and has a history of falls which knocked her confidence and left her unsteady. Margretta is able to get around with the assistance of a walking frame and carers
Our carers have been helping Margretta for the past three years in assisting with her day-to-day needs. During the summer months, Margretta enjoys spending time in her garden.

John suffers from shortness of breath and is quite frail. John is able to walk short distances with the assistance of a delta rollator and supervision of carers. Carers visit John four times a day to assist with personal care tasks. He is very independent, so we try to support him in managing his every day life and help him remain in his own home. Due to John’s determination and encouragement from his son and staff, he has reduced to one carer for her mid day calls. John’s son, Graham Hewitt, said: “The service my father has received from Shikilla Health Care has been extraordinary. Their approach has been sympathetic and appropriate. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with the care of a loved one.”
